Gentian contains chemicals that might reduce blood pressure by widening blood vessels. It might also have effects that reduce appetite. People use gentian for diabetes, high blood pressure, obesity, and many other conditions, but there is no good scientific evidence to support these uses.
Suggested use: Add 1 full squeeze of the dropper bulb to 2 oz. of water or juice, 2 or 3 times per day. Best taken 15 - 20 minutes before meals.
