Rue Liquid Extract by Herb Pharm

Crushed rue leaves are placed in the ear canal to relieve ear aches and headaches. Externally, rue is applied as a skin antiseptic and insect repellant, as well as a poultice against rheumatic pain. Due to its toxicity, the use of this plant is now considered obsolete by modern scientific herbalism (phytotherapy). Its documented therapeutic uses include the treatment of inflammatory conditions, eczema, ulcers, arthritis, fibromyalgia, antidote for venoms, and as an insect repellent.

Suggested use: Add 0.68 ml (30 drops) to 2 oz. of water or juice, 2 or 3 times per day. Best taken between meals.
